Knowing the skeletons, and knowing the intrinsic flaws of noynoy, the puppeteers-kamaganak, the firm, oligarchs...the military will swing in their favour. This is a dangerous and lethal scenario, to kill democracy as we know it not by force but by deception, mind conditioning from media’s manipulation. There is hardly any attempt to re-write the scenario, as every major soundbite they make and the fears they hark upon are hardly original. In fact, the LP reaction to the basilan bomb attacks looks so much like a dry run, considering that it tracks and follows the plaza Miranda bombing, as we thought it then and we know now. In plaza Miranda, we thought it was Marcos. Turned out it was the communist. And the one who got away – he was not there at the bombing – was ninoy. Acccording to one account or a newshen who claims familiarity with the incident, ninoy was at jailai at Taft Ave. early that evening, but instead of joining Salonga et al, he went home to times st. telling his driver “gisingin ako pag may nangyari...”
